Michelle Dickey-President
Howdy! My name is Michelle Dickey, and I am a Senior Chemistry major with a Neuroscience minor from Round Rock, Texas. I am so excited to serve as the President of the Texas A&M Pre-Medical Society for the 2025-2026 school year! I started out serving on the Philanthropy Committee in my freshman year, then served as secretary my sophomore year, and most recently as Community Service Director last year. This society has truly become my home, and I can’t wait to help lead y’all through another amazing school year! As president, I will be overseeing all of the Society’s activities and ensuring everything runs smoothly so y’all have the best opportunities to become amazing medical school applicants. Outside of the Society, I am involved in Chemistry research and am working on my thesis project this year. I also play French Horn in the Concert Bands and small ensembles! In my free time, I love hiking, camping, reading, photography, watching movies and TV, and spending time with friends and my fiancé. I applied to medical school this past spring and am navigating this journey alongside y’all, but I’m always open to any questions about the process. Always feel free to reach out to me with any questions or just to chat if you need a friend. Thanks and Gig’em!
Elizabeth Ponder- Vice President
Hey y'all! I'm Elizabeth Ponder, a senior Biology major with minors in Psychology and History. I am from a Dallas suburb called Fairview, Texas. I am extremely honored to be the Pre-Medical Society’s Vice President for the 25-26 academic year. The organization has lit the path of my Pre-Medical journey, and I want to return the strength it has given me. Last year, I served as an officer as the Technology Chair. However, I have also been part of the Peer Mentorship Program and the Philanthropy Committee during my time in the organization. This year, I have goals to continue to have speakers from specialties that pique member interest and give them custom thank you notes. Aside from the Pre-Medical Society, I am a member of the women's org Aggie Blossoms. Some of my pre-medical experience includes Biological Undergraduate Research in the Mitchell lab, volunteering for the Boys and Girls Club, volunteering at St. Joseph's ER, and being a medical assistant at a Podiatry office. During breaks, I enjoy painting, traveling, making friendship bracelets, and watching movies. If you guys ever want to chat, get a coffee, or justify thrifting, be sure to let me know! Thank you for all that you do as a member or a speaker. Here’s to a great year!

Lauren Carlisle- Secretary
Howdy! My name is Lauren Carlisle, and I’m a junior Business Honors major with a Pre-Med minor from Houston (basically downtown!), Texas. I’m incredibly excited to serve as the Secretary for the Pre-Medical Society this year. My goal is to help pre-meds feel connected and supported within our organization, as having a strong community can make all the difference on the path to medical school. I’ve been a member of the Society since my very first semester at Texas A&M, and last year, I had the privilege of leading the Philanthropy Committee’s fundraising efforts. I originally joined in search of direction, and since then, I’ve found clarity, mentorship, and countless opportunities—from volunteering to med school prep. One of the things I love most about our organization is that our members know how to balance the grind with fun, and I’m definitely looking forward to dominating in IMs this year. One of my most impactful experiences in the Society was touring TAMU College of Medicine’s anatomy lab. Getting to hold real human organs was both surreal and deeply motivating. Outside of Pre-Med Society, I’ve served as a Sophomore Advisor for University Honors, Assistant Director for the FLO MSC FLI, and a student-athlete tutor. I’m currently conducting research in the Zarin Lab, where we study the neuronal circuits of Drosophila larvae. I’m also a huge gym junkie, so when I’m not in the lab or studying, you can probably find me at Southside Rec. I can’t wait to get to know y’all, so please reach out! Thanks and Gig ’em!
Ainsley Evans- Philanthropy Chair
Howdy! My name is Ainsley and I am a junior Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience major. I am from Cypress and I transferred to A&M from Trinity University in the Fall of 2024. Outside of the Pre-Med Society, I volunteer with Scotty’s House and a local hospice. In my free time, I love playing with my dog Theodore, reading books, and traveling. I am so excited to serve as your Philanthropy Chair this school year! In this position, I hope to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and increase participation in our annual 5k and various other fundraisers. Both of my grandparents had Alzheimer’s disease during my childhood, so this cause is very close to my heart. If you would like to find a way to be more involved in this effort, don’t hesitate to reach out to me! I am always available to lend an ear or advice to anyone who wants it! We’re all trying to navigate the difficult journey of being pre-med students, and no one should ever suffer alone. I look forward to meeting everyone! :)

Ryan Keener- Community Service Director
Howdy! My name is Ryan Keener, and I’m a senior Animal Science major with minors in BIMS and Pre-Medicine. I’m originally from San Antonio, Texas, though I’ve lived all over the U.S. I’m incredibly excited to serve as the Director of Community Service for the ‘25–‘26 school year! Over the past two years, I’ve served on the Philanthropy Committee, including as Co-Chair for the ‘24–‘25 school year. Selfless service is not only a core Aggie value, it’s essential to our journey as future physicians. I hope to expand volunteer opportunities for our society and foster a welcoming environment where everyone feels encouraged to get involved in serving our local community. In my free time, I enjoy fishing, playing intramurals, and training and competing with the TAMU Triathlon Team. I also love spending time with fellow pre-meds and getting to know others in the organization. I’m excited to kick off a great year, connect with all of you, and provide meaningful opportunities to serve. Please feel free to reach out if you ever need help or just want to chat. Thanks, and Gig ‘em

Outside of the Pre-Med Society, I’m involved in research at the Med School, work as a part-time caregiver, am super involved with the local church (Declaration Church is so awesome!!), and am also a member of Aggie Camping. In my free time, you can catch me doing something outside, working out, reading, watching movies, playing tennis or pickleball, or just hanging out with my friends. Anushil Balaji- Membership Director
Howdy! My name is Anushil Balaji, and I’m a sophomore Biomedical Sciences major with a Psychology minor, planning to graduate in May 2028. It’s an honor to serve as the Membership Director of the TAMU Pre-Medical Society for the 2025–2026 school year. Pre-Med has given me so many friendships, experiences, and opportunities during my time at A&M, and I’m incredibly excited to pay it forward this upcoming year. As Membership Director, I’m looking forward to helping elevate this society and grow our membership. Just as importantly, I want to ensure that all of our current members have an outstanding experience. I’m committed to doing everything I can to help our organization continuously improve and evolve. In my free time, I enjoy playing board games, watching TV shows, listening to music, and hitting the gym! I can’t wait to meet our new members and help make this community stronger than ever. David Coleman Historian
Howdy! My name is David Coleman, and I’m a sophomore Kinesiology major from Nacogdoches, TX. I’m incredibly honored to serve as this year’s Historian and can’t wait to capture all the unforgettable memories we’ll make together! In this role, I’ll be documenting our socials, events, and service opportunities through photos and putting together a slideshow for our banquet! One of my favorite parts of this society is playing intramurals, and I am so pumped to head those up this year! We won the indoor volleyball championship last year, and I am confident our teams can rack up some more trophies! Outside of the society, I compete on TAMU’s Triathlon Team, so I’m always up for swimming, biking, running, and racing. I also love playing and watching just about any sport, spending time outdoors, binge-watching CBS reality shows, and racking up 12th Man Rewards points! I’m so excited to get to know each of you this year, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever need anything! I’m here for you and ready to make this our best year yet! Thanks & Gig ’Em!

Carson Luton- Treasurer
Howdy, I'm Carson, a biochemistry major from the class of 2027 at Texas A&M. When I'm not buried in books, you'll find me on the courts for basketball or volleyball, shredding waves wakesurfing, or dominating the pickleball courts. I also dedicate my free time to volunteering at various campus events. On quieter days, sinking shots on the pool table, binge-watching captivating TV series, or cheering on my favorite basketball team keeps me entertained. Recently, I've developed a keen interest in stock trading, staying informed on current market trends. Despite my bustling schedule, I'm always up for trying new things. My ultimate goal is to attend medical school and pursue my passion for medicine, driven by a desire to make a positive impact on others' lives. Alongside my fellow officers, we aim to build upon this club's legacy. As treasurer, I aspire to refine our budgeting process, allocating funds to enhance club events and meetings. I'm committed to maintaining the high standards set by my predecessors and striving for excellence.
McKenzie Saathoff- Events Coordinator
Howdy y’all! My name is McKenzie Saathoff and I am a junior Biomedical Sciences major with a Nutrition minor. I am from Portland, Texas, a small town outside of Corpus Christi. This will be my third year with the Pre-Medical Society and I am excited to serve as your Events Coordinator! This organization has allowed me to meet some amazing people and I am looking forward to creating events that will continue to bring members together. In this position, I will be in charge of planning socials, the medical school trip each semester, and our end of year banquet. Outside of Pre-Med I was apart of Aggie Grotto for two years, am involved in a competitive volleyball IM, and work part time for TAMU Sport Clubs. I love to go to the beach, listen to music, and hangout with friends. I cannot wait to meet you all and make this year one to remember! Pre-Med has so many opportunities so take advantage and get involved with as much as you can. Feel free to reach out with any questions or if you just want someone to talk to! Let’s make this a great year! Thanks and Gig’em!

Alexander Rincon- Peer Mentorship Chair
Howdy fellow Pre-Meds! I am Alexander Rincon, a Junior Biochemistry major and Physics minor. I am honored to serve as your Peer Mentorship Chair this year! Outside of being a (somewhat) well-adjusted pre-med, I love spending time with family and friends, whether in my hometown of San Antonio or lovely Tampa Bay, where I lived out my high school years. I’m passionate about learning and enjoy subjects like philosophy, theology, history, and even the “boring” pre-med topics (I love physics!). Keeping life balanced is important, so I turn to sports for some much-needed stress relief. I enjoy tennis, basketball, football, and soccer; you can find me on the court or field helping our awesome intramural teams win in my role as a player-coach. It’s a great way to unwind and connect with other athletic pre-meds! As Peer Mentorship Chair, I’m looking forward to guiding the growth of our mentorship program. I truly encourage y'all to get involved. There is so much to gain from listening to the different perspectives our awesome mentors and mentees have to offer. The Pre-Medical Society is truly a special organization due to its variety of resources, programs, and volunteering opportunities to help us along our road to medical school. We have a wonderful partnership with a non-profit, A Reason to Dream, which I will help lead this year. I invite y’all to check it out, as it’s a great way to give back to the grateful community of Hearne. I enjoy good camaraderie, so if you need advice, a good conversation, or want to play some sports, come say what's up!
