Alzheimer's Kickball Tournament - Spring 2019
Thank You to our sponsors that made our 4th annual Kickball tournament happen!
This year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s is on Saturday, October 24, 2020.
What to expect:
The last tournament was held on April 28th for Spring 2019.
This past year our Society raised money through an on-campus bake sale to give a Christmas gift to children residing at Phoebe’s Home. We donated some children’s movies, popcorn, hot chocolate, and other goodies! They were a hit!

You not only have the opportunity to help as a member but you can also serve on our Philanthropy Committee . Each year, toward the end of the fall semester, our Philanthropy Chair opens up applications for the committee and chooses 9-11 individuals who are dedicated to the cause. The committee will assist with all things philanthropy related, most notably in past years the spring kickball tournament, but hopefully within this upcoming year a Field Day Event. This is a fantastic way to get to know your fellow society members, build your medical school application, and is a great transition into an officer position!
In April of 2016, the Texas A&M Pre-Medical Society held their first annual Kickball Tournament to End Alzheimer’s to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. It is with great pleasure that we can support this philanthropy, and we will continue to do so despite challenges that we may face during the 2020-2021 school year.
Kickball Tournament Against Alzheimer's
Howdy! Welcome to the Pre-Med Society Philanthropy page where you can learn how to support and bring awareness to Alzheimer’s. Throughout the year, we hold events to bring awareness and raise money for the Alzheimer's Association, an organization with fundraising goals directed toward "a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia". In this school year of 2020-2021, we will be hosting safe and unique events to not only fundraise but give back to those affected within our Bryan/College Station community. More information on our fundraising events, including our "Field Day to End Alzheimers” that occurs in the spring semester will be made available at a later time. In the mean time, tune in, get excited about being a part of a great cause, and if you have any questions about our philanthropy or have any suggestions on how we can further support the Alzheimers Association, email Gabrielle Sakel at firstname.lastname@example.org
